Dr Geeta Lad

Dr Geeta Lad completed her medical degree at Karnatak University, Hubli, India in 1971 and has over 45 years of experience as a General Practitioner. Dr Geeta & Dr Ulhas Lad started their first General Practice in the country town of Smithton on the North West Coast of Tasmania for 12 years from 1974 to 1986 before moving to Blackmans Bay and establishing Dr Lad’s Surgery in Blackmans Bay in 1987.

Dr Geeta Lad provides all aspects of General Practice and has extensive experience inwomen's health and children's health. In her spare time, Dr Geeta Lad is involved in services to the Indian Community through the Indian Cultural Society of Tasmania and the Hindu Temple. Dr Geeta enjoys cooking and entertaining and her special interest is playing cards at least once a week.
