If you require care after regular surgery hours, after hours care can be accessed via the Hello Home Doctor Service. Please call 134 100.
In the case of any after-hours emergencies, please present to the Emergency Department at your local hospital, or call 000.
Recall and reminders
Blackmans Bay Health uses HotDoc’s recall and reminder system to send health messages to our patients. This system sends an SMS reminder to patients to advise them when they are due for services such as vaccinations, care plan reviews and health assessments. This system also notifies patients to make follow up appointments with their doctor if their doctor needs to discuss any incoming correspondence and results.
Interpreter services
Our practice provides health services to a diverse and multicultural population, including people with disability, communication impairment and those from non-English-speaking backgrounds. Interpreter services are available for patients from non-English-speaking backgrounds and for patients who are deaf and use Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN).
If you require an interpreter service, we can organise this for you. Please let us know when making your appointment.
