Fee increase from July 1st 2024
Dear Patients,
From July 1st 2024 our consultation fee's will be increasing by 13.3%.
Due to the increased cost of a running a quality medical practice, we have found it necessary to increase our fees.
In an effort to support our patients, Blackmans Bay Health has not increased consultation fees since we introduced mixed billing in March 2022, and delayed our planned increase last year to ensure we could support our patients through the pandemic and cost of living, However healthcare has seen significant price increases on many expenses, and our costs have risen substantially.
We are conscious that some of our patients are unable to afford the fee; therefore we offer bulk billing to children under the age of
16,Pension/Concession Card Holders, DVA Card Holders
This change is required so that Blackmans Bay Health can continue to provide you and your family with high quality healthcare whilst also covering the ever increasing costs of running a Practice.
Beyond standard consultations your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received.
